The 2015 Kids Rock Cancer Documentary, produced by HEC-TV, has been named a Gold Winner at the Spring 2015 Aurora Awards.
The Aurora Awards is a top-tier industry award for works not broadcast nationally on all major networks. It is an international competition designed to recognize excellence in the film and video industries, and celebrates the work of independent filmmakers, corporate film, multi-media film in marketing and budding student talent alike.
The news of this award comes quickly on the heels of the announcement that the Kids Rock Cancer documentary has been nominated for a Mid-America Emmy Award. We are so excited by the growing momentum for this documentary, and the chance to spread the word about our efforts to bring the joy and healing power of music to kids at St. Louis pediatric cancer centers.
