On Thursday, May 30, Maryville partnered with J. Gilbert’s Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood restaurant for “Maryville Dines Out” – a collaborative event to help support both Kids Rock Cancer and the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic (for kids with speech and language disorders). With great food and live music, it was an exciting evening of local “celebrity waiters,” who entertained guests and helped raise funds as well as awareness of Maryville’s two outreach programs for children. Celebrity waiters included Fredbird, Miss Missouri, Brian Owens, Bob Mills, Randy Campbell, our very own Rock Star Ariana Scroggins and a host of other Maryville friends and volunteers. Our honorary chairs, a KRC rock star and Walker Clinic super star, shared their impactful stories about music therapy and speech-language therapy with the guests.
