Another successful run around the bases! On Thursday, June 6, Kids Day Out at Busch Stadium gave one of KRC’s talented participants, 18-year-old Brady Barnes, the opportunity to throw out the first pitch! Brady had never been down on the field before, but with his family by his side, he couldn’t have been more of a pro on the mound. During an interview, lead music therapist Tracie Sandheinrich shared the benefits of therapeutic songwriting, and expressed gratitude for opportunities like Kids Day Out that give participants unforgettable experiences. Every year, Busch Stadium donates a portion of Kids Day Out tickets sales directly back to Kids Rock Cancer.
