On Thursday, Feb 21, Kids Rock Cancer celebrated the fourth annual #1000 Saints event at Maryville University, raising a record $40,000 dollars! What might seem like a regular night of basketball is no regular night at all. This event enables students, faculty, staff, volunteers and the community to have an inside look at just how big an impact therapeutic songwriting can have on KRC participants and their families. During both the women’s and men’s game halftimes, rock star performances left the crowd roaring! Without the help of generous supporters, KRC would not be able to do what it does! A huge thank you to Maryville University and Dr. Lombardi, community donors and sponsorships, and the many gracious volunteers. Everyone helped make yet another #1000 Saints a “rockin'” success!
